Nevsehir University is one of the 19 Turkish University which the Europian Commission approved to give 'Diploma Suplement Label' in 2012. Having the the 'Diploma Supplement Label' which is the certificate of excellence, means that the success of our university is approved by European Commission.
As a result of the studies that have been proceeding since 2009 and coordinated by Bologna Coordination Commission (BCC), Erasmus, AKTS and Diploma Supplement Label Coordination, at 1 June 2012 it is applied to Turkish National Agency for having Diploma Supplement.
The results of the applications to of 23 Universities from Turkey To have the 'Diploma Supplement Label' at 2012 was announced during the meeting which was held in Ankara at European Union Educatioın and Youth Organisation Ministry at 18 July 2012. According to the pre-evaluation results that were announced at that date, it was endorced that the Diploma Supplement of the Nevsehir University was appropriate to the international standards and by Turkish National Agency The Diploma Supplement was sent to the European Commission for he final evaluation.
As a result of the evaluation which was held by the independent authorities Nevsehir University was awarded with the 'Diploma Supplement Label' together with the other 19 Turkish University. With that award Nevsehir University was acredited by European Commision in order to give diploma supplement.
Up to this date, the amount of the Turkish universities that gain the 'Diploma Supplement Label' is; at 2009 there were 7 universities, at 2010 there were 4, at 2011 it was 14 and at 2012 there were 19 and in total now there are 44 universities gained the Diploma Supplement Label.
The rector of our university Prof. Dr. Filiz KILIÇ having said that at this dificult process, our university reached important success by having the Diploma Supplement Label and with this success all the university stuff feel proud, in addition to the subject our rector said: "Within the context of internationalisation and quality assurance studies, the certain ongoing success of our university in a 5 years short time is apper. Our success is approved by European Commission. Nevsehir University adding other successes every day continues to be the good example and remembered good in every areas. This success is the common success of the Nevsehir University. I congradulate everyone who worked hard for this achievment and wish this success to be continue."

Diploma Suplement Label as a certificate of excellence, with its tranceparency leads the grades to be understood easily in other countries. Diploma Supplement is an additional document given which aims the international tranceparency to clarify the academic and vocational efficiencies, diplomas and certificates. Diploma supplementis based on the visibility and clarity of the education to be comprehended by everyone. For this reason, our students taken the Nevsehir University Diploma Supplement when they are graduated, with the visibility of their qualifications and their education, have the chance to work international areas and to abroad.
It is a supplementary document developed in collaboration with UNESCO/CEPES, European Commission and European Council, which is attached to diploma based on the transparent recognition of the academic skills and competence of the diploma holder during the study period.
When a university give Diploma Supplement that is advanced by the international institudes to the undergraduate and postgraduate students, that university is awarded with "Diploma Supplement Label".
Those universities, in order to have that label, have to clarify and prove that all the substances are carried out at the diploma supplement.
